The Franchise Rugby League has officially released the fixtures for the upcoming 2023 season, promising an action-packed calendar for rugby fans. Both men’s and women’s teams will play double headers for each fixture, offering twice the excitement and opportunities for fans to witness thrilling rugby action.
The season kicks off on September 16th, 2023, with the Valencia Huracanes taking on the Bath Gladiators. Fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the season and the opportunity to see these two teams face off on the field.
A highlight of the 2023 season will be the Rivals Weekend, set for October 14th. The location is yet to be confirmed, but the matchups are guaranteed to provide some intense competition. Bath Gladiators will be playing against the Bristol Sonics, while the Valencia Huracanes will clash with the Alicante Cruzados.
The 2023 season will feature an International Break from October 21st to November 4th for the Euro Championship.
Following the break, the Franchise Rugby League season will resume on November 11th, with the Bristol Sonics facing the Alicante Cruzados. The season will continue throughout November and December, with the final league match taking place on December 16th between the Valencia Huracanes and Bristol Sonics before the Grand final play off between the top 2.
